Thelma and Vernon celebrated their wedding on October 12th, 2024 at the beautiful Old Mill Lash House in Scarborough, Ontario.
The morning started off fairly brisk, but as the sun came out, it slowly warmed up the stunning grounds surrounding the venue. It was a busy and full morning, with preparations underway for a truly special and unique celebration. The ceremony space was carefully set for a back-to-back ceremony honoring two different faiths, along with two outfit changes—bringing together traditions, cultures, and one beautiful group of loving friends and family who gathered to celebrate this incredible couple.
One of the most heartfelt moments of the day was their first look, a quiet and emotional pause that we were lucky enough to capture in time. Shortly after, their dogs joined in for a few photos, adding such a personal and joyful touch before being whisked away. The couple then headed off with their wedding party into the greens alongside their photographer to capture even more memories.
While they were away, the final touches to the reception tent were coming together seamlessly. Not long after, the couple and wedding party returned to the main house just as the rain began to pour—almost as if perfectly timed. Inside, the space quickly filled with warmth, laughter, and good cheer as guests settled in, sharing stories and reminiscing about the beautiful love story of Thelma and Vernon.
Following a beautiful ceremony, guests made their way into the reception area, where a variety of delicious cuisine options awaited them. The evening naturally unfolded into an incredible celebration, highlighted by live entertainment that brought an amazing energy into the space. It didn’t take long before everyone was on their feet, dancing and celebrating the night away together.
With full day coordination led by Justin, alongside assistant Pavan and student/intern Nicole, the entire day came together with care and intention. It was a heartfelt, emotional, and joy-filled celebration—one that truly reflected Thelma and Vernon’s love and the community that surrounds them.
